Terms for using Gemsite.
These terms explain the basic expectations for using Gemsite. We wrote them in plain language so stores, teams, and customers can understand how the product should be used.
Using Gemsite
Gemsite is software for jewelry stores to manage business workflows such as repairs, sales, appraisals, inventory, customer records, invoices, pickup, and service communication. You are responsible for the information you enter, the actions your team takes, and making sure your use of Gemsite follows the laws and rules that apply to your business.
Customer communication
Messaging in Gemsite is intended for approved, service-related communication only. Examples include repair updates, order questions, pickup reminders, invoice or payment links, appointment coordination, and direct support conversations requested by the customer.
Gemsite does not use messaging to spam customers. Gemsite does not send marketing text blasts on behalf of stores. Stores should not use Gemsite messaging for advertising, promotions, or campaigns unless they have the proper customer permission and comply with all applicable messaging rules.
Customer consent and opt-out
Stores should only text customers who have agreed to receive messages related to their orders, services, or account. Customers should be able to ask for help or stop receiving texts. If a customer replies STOP, the store should respect that request and stop texting that number unless the customer opts in again.
Account security
Keep login credentials private and give access only to team members who need it. If you believe an account has been accessed without permission, contact Gemsite as soon as possible at Leo@gemsite.ai.
Data and content
Your store keeps ownership of the business information it enters into Gemsite. Gemsite may process that information to provide the product, maintain security, support your account, troubleshoot issues, and improve the service.
