Information Gemsite handles

Gemsite may process account information, team member details, customer names and contact information, repair and order details, inventory records, invoices, uploaded images, appraisals, notes, and messaging records entered by a store or its team.

How information is used

We use information to provide Gemsite, keep accounts secure, support store workflows, send service-related notifications, troubleshoot issues, improve the product, and respond to support or billing questions.

Text messaging and phone numbers

Gemsite messaging is designed for approved business communication about customer work. That includes order and repair updates, pickup reminders, invoice questions, appointment coordination, support replies, and similar service messages.

Gemsite does not sell customer phone numbers. Gemsite does not use customer phone numbers to send spam or marketing blasts. Gemsite messaging should not be used for advertising or promotional campaigns unless the store has the required customer permission and follows all applicable messaging rules.

Sharing information

We share information only as needed to run Gemsite, such as with infrastructure, authentication, payment, email, messaging, analytics, or support providers. We do not sell store customer lists or customer contact details.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but Gemsite is designed to keep business data in controlled, account-based systems instead of relying on browser-only storage.

Customer choices

Customers can ask the store that contacted them for help, updates, correction, or deletion where appropriate. For text messages, customers may reply STOP to opt out of further texts from that number.
